![]() ![]() Sometimes you'll even get blind-fire one-shotted by a competent player while creeping around in smoke. ![]() The downside of playing the Huanghe as a DD is that it's a DD with a citadel, so sometimes you will get one-shotted if driving recklessly. The AA complement is also surprisingly effective, especially if you're used to playing lower tier DDs and getting bullied by CVs. Plus, if you do end up going in and doing DD things, you'll find that the DPM is more than adequate to bully the actual DD opponents on caps. The gun characteristics are also very comfy for newer players, although for some reason the dispersion seems to troll me harder than any other non-BB ship in my port. Having the creeping smoke plus hydro consumables basically lets you play as a stand-in DD for any games where either there isn't any DD's or your own DD's have decided to rushed back to port early. My experience with it so far seems to be in line with other players' in-game sentiments: I picked up the Huanghe because I noticed quite a few of them being used in T6 ranked, and other players in the chat commenting that it is actually unironically good for that game mode. I'm a noob and I mainly play DDs and BBs. ![]()
